Boreham, near Chelmsford, Essex

In partnership with MDR Developments, we are seeking to obtain planning permission for a Care Village on the outskirts of Boreham on the North side of Chelmsford beside the A12.

The Care Village will offer a wide range of accommodation with a central facilities building which will offer a wide range of services to support all levels of dependency.

There will be a range of studio, one and two bed suites with on site 24 hour care available as and when required. These will accommodate a wide range of care support needs and give residents a good choice of living arrangements, whilst being assured of a place for life within the scheme. This could be particularly valuable for allowing couples to stay together when one partner has care needs which the other one is unable to provide without support.

All residents will have their own accommodation with front door where personal day space allows them to socialise in privacy with family and friends. Communal lounge and dining areas will be provided so that residents can chose to spend time in a group setting for their social or care needs. In order for residents to feel comfortable in their social environment, they will each live in a social group which is compatible with their physical frailty and/or dementia.

Strong community links will be fostered and services offered such as social events and day care within the scheme.
